  • 15-20drops of NOW essential oils,depending on howmuch fragrance you like your sugar scrub to smell like.

Step 1

In a bowl, add your sugar and give it a stir to make sure there are no clumps.

Step 2

This homemade sugar scrub has a shelf life of around 6 months, depending on how clean you keep it. Try to keep the lid on whenever it is not being used, and use clean tools or hands to take the scrub out of the jar with. You will know when the scrub goes bad if it has a different or an off smell to it. The nice thing about making your own homemade sugar scrub is that you can easily make another batch when this happens :)

Thanks for the recipe! Already tried it and loved it. Did have a word of warning – essential oils shouldn’t be used for the shower or bath unless they have been solubilized. The oils will separate when exposed to water, increasing the chances of direct contact with the body – increasing the chance of irritation and sensitization.
