Ready to go fishing in Los Angeles? That’s what Santa Monica Pier Fishing is here for.
Here you won’t be far from inshore waters, including some honey holes that only a local guide can show you. The name of the game around here is light tackle fishing, which is what you’ll be doing on the day of your trip. Mitchell will provide rods and reels.
Fishing around here will often see you targeting White Seabass, Crab, Calico Bass, Halibut, Lobster, Scorpionfish, Leopard Shark, Sculpin, Bonito, and more, depending on the season and the bite on the day of your adventure.
Note that your guide practices catch-and-release fishing, so won’t be taking any fish home with you after the trip. Up to 6 anglers are welcome on these excursions. You’ll be fishing without a boat, so expect to make your way on foot at least part of the time and come dressed for current weather conditions. Expect to get in touch with Mitchell before the trip so you know where to meet and how to get there.
You’re encouraged to dress in layers and the proper footwear (if you aren’t sure what that means, just ask). It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen, rain or shine.
Children are welcome to come along.
